Blade Box

Patent Pending

This is the original Blade Box.  Born from a need to change out fly patterns quickly during a fleeting hatch. It has become an essential tool in the workflow of nearly every Fly Angler who has used it.

The Blade Box allows the user to magnetically capture terminal tackle and snip it off cleanly in a single device, almost eliminating the risk of dropping that expensive fly pattern into the water or at river's edge.  It offers anglers a secure place to store wet or used flies during the day's fishing.  And since those wet flies aren't in your dry fly box the chance of mold or other bilogical contaminents infesting your expensive collection is nearly eliminated.

Patent Pending features include a magnetic floor to safely capture and store wet flies and the ability to remove and replace standard utility blades if they ever become dulled from use.

The Blade Box can be carried loose in your bag or attached to the angler by all traditional means like zingers and lanyards.  Egghead Outdoors also offer several magnetic attachment options (sold seperately) that integrate directly with the Blade Box.  Included with the purchase of the Blade Box is is an adhesive velcro style sticker so that anglers may finally make use of that "fly patch" that came sewn onto their waders.

The Blade Box arrives fully ready to impliment into your workflow with removable blades installed.

    • WARNING:  Magnetic fields in magnets within devices and machinery can inhibit pulse generators for ICDs and pacemakers. In ICDs in particular, magnets can activate a switch prohibiting the ICD from delivering vital signals such as lifesaving shocks.
    • If you have an ICD or pacemaker, avoid close or prolonged contact with magnets or their magnetic fields. Keep magnets at least 6 inches from where your device is implanted.
